Our Graduate Development Programme gives you the best possible start to a career in engineering consultancy - and a clear, supported route to becoming a chartered professional. It’s designed around one idea: develop engineers who have the knowledge, skills and professionalism not just to contribute to our company, but eventually to lead it.
The programme is aligned with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE). It typically takes three years to complete, after which you’ll build further experience before applying for professional qualification with either institution. We reimburse your professional membership fees, give you paid study leave and paid leave to sit your exams, and surround you with chartered engineers who’ve done it themselves.
We're a multi-disciplinary firm of around 40 people - which means you won't be tucked away on one narrow task. From the start you'll:
In a firm our size, you’re never a number. Our partners are hands-on and our teams are close-knit, which means more contact with senior engineers, more visibility, and more responsibility, sooner. You’ll be encouraged to get involved in client-facing work early, because that’s how communication skills and commercial awareness really develop.
We hope you enjoy the journey - and we’d love to hear from you.
