Projects

We’ve been fortunate to work on a remarkable variety of projects across many sectors - and we learn from every one, carrying those lessons forward so the next project is better than the last. As a graduate, this is the kind of work you’ll get your hands on. Here are just a few:

	Chiswick Point A mixed-use development of between 5 and 8 storeys, comprising 124 apartments, a nursery and commercial office space. Structa undertook the civil and structural engineering design services in addition to undertaking a ground investigation and supervising remediation of this brownfield site.

	Heathrow Airport We provided engineering advice and design for the replacement of the Concorde display, including a condition survey to relocate the original model and new foundations and structural support for an Emirates 1/3-scale A380 model.

	Three Mills West, Stratford Civil and structural design for a landmark development on a former petrol filling station site, delivering 430 student bedrooms, 10,000 sq ft of artist studio space, and ground-floor commercial space.

	Breakspear House, London Refurbishment of a Grade I listed manor house and grounds into nine luxury residential units, plus two lodges, a three-storey masonry dovecote, and eight new adjacent homes.

	Aberdeen Airport Working with a steel fabricator to design a striking multi-arch welcome sign and its concrete foundations at the airport entrance.

	Tilbury Power Station, Essex Design-assist support for a 26-metre pipe bridge carrying new biomass fuel feed ducts, routed around existing infrastructure under a design-and-build contract.

	Althorpe St, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire Geotechnical, civil and structural design for two four-storey buildings providing 187 student bedrooms, linked by a glazed atrium overlooking the Grand Union Canal.

	Northwick Park Hospital, London A new four-storey, 63-bed treatment and acute ward unit linked to the existing Emergency Department, including a dedicated infectious-diseases floor.

	Barrow Hedges School, London New-build, refurbishment and remodelling to expand a growing school, including new classrooms built over existing ones and an extension to the main hall - all carefully programmed around the school timetable.
