We are looking for graduates to join our Planning & Consents Environmental Management & Assessment and Project Management & Digital teams in 2027.

This is an opportunity to work in a leading engineering and professional services consultancy, helping shape projects that protect the environment, support communities, and enable sustainable development.

You will collaborate with environmental specialists, planners, engineers and project managers to help clients understand environmental risks, manage impacts, and deliver projects responsibly.

• Environmental Management Assessment: Manchester, Leeds, London, South East, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol and Cardiff.
• Planning & Consents Project Management: Reading, London, Bristol, and Leeds

A little bit more about your role and the team…

You will gain firsthand experience from the start, supporting environmental assessment, planning, consenting, and project management activities from early design through to delivery. Learning from experienced specialists, you will contribute to collaborative project teams and help create positive outcomes for people, places, and nature.

Our Environmental Management & Assessment team supports clients in understanding environmental risks and opportunities. The team helps assess potential impacts, coordinate technical evidence, and identify practical solutions that enable responsible project delivery.

Our Project Management & Digital team helps environmental impact assessment projects run smoothly. The team supports planning, coordination, digital organisation, and delivery across integrated environmental projects, helping teams stay aligned, informed and on track. You will be supported by experienced colleagues while building your technical, digital and project delivery skills on real-world projects.

What we’re looking for

• You will have, or be on track to achieve, at least a 2:2 in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree. 
• You will be available to start in April or September 2027.
• You will have an interest in environmental management and assessment or planning and consents Environmental Project Management.
• You will be comfortable working with data, including numerical information analysis and interpretation.
• You will be comfortable using digital tools, including Excel and, where relevant GIS.
• You will communicate clearly, work well with others and be open to learning from different specialists across project teams.
• You will be curious, adaptable and motivated to deliver value for clients, communities and the environment.
• You will be able to travel to sites and/or client offices when required.

Our two-year Graduate Development Programme is designed to help you build the skills, experience and professional network needed to thrive at the start of your career with us. Through a blend of structured learning, mentoring and hands-on project experience, you will be supported every step of the way.

If successful at this stage, you will be invited to complete an online assessment, containing a Cognitive Assessment, personality questionnaire and Situational Judgement Test (SJT).
