Your new role, what’s involved?

Join us for a Year in Industry or Summer Placement, and you’ll find yourself challenged in more fascinating and far-reaching ways than ever before. You’ll explore new and inspiring opportunities to make the most of your expertise, broaden your professional horizons and create exciting new possibilities for people, organisations and future generations.

TRANSPORT AND INFRASTRUCTURE

Rail Stations

  • Location: London, Guildford, Birmingham
  • Degrees considered – Telecommunications

WATER

Water Engineering – Asset Design

  • Locations: Newcastle
  • Degrees considered - Civil Engineering & Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering

Water Asset Management

  • Locations: Belfast 
  • Degrees Considered – Environmental Sciences, Geography, Water & Environmental Management or Data Science/management

  • You’ll be studying a relevant degree from the degree backgrounds listed in the vacancies in the job advertisement and on our placements webpage.
  • You’ll have a passion for sustainable engineering or environmental, and creativity to solve problems
  • You’ll have a drive to make a positive impact on the world
  • You’ll want to stretch and inspire us, speaking up about any new ideas you have
  • You’ll want to throw yourself in from day one and put your studies into practice
  • You’ll have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • You’ll have the ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to dynamic project environments. Sharing ideas and collaborating with colleagues
  • You’ll have the ability to prioritise and plan effectively
