We’re looking for graduates to join our Advisory Business Rates and Valuation team in 2027. This is an opportunity to start your career with a leading engineering and professional services consultancy, combining property expertise, commercial insight and client-focused advice.

A little bit more about your role and the team…

As a Graduate in our Business Rates and Valuation team, you’ll support work across a wide range of property types, including retail, industrial, office, healthcare, residential and mixed-use developments. Our clients include major national occupiers, public sector organisations, developers, investors and housing providers.

You will work closely with experienced Chartered Surveyors who will support your learning and professional development. Through client projects, you will build knowledge across Business Rates and Valuation, develop your understanding of the property market and gain practical skills to support your progress towards professional qualification through the APC pathway.

What we’re looking for

• You will have, or be on track to achieve, at least a 2:2 in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in real estate or a related subject
• You will be looking to start work in September 2027.
• You will be interested in how property, valuation and business rates can influence decisions for clients and communities.
• You will be curious, commercially aware and motivated to keep learning.
• You will communicate clearly, work well with others and be open to learning from different specialists across project teams.
• You will enjoy solving problems, taking ownership of your work and creating value for clients.
• You will actively seek opportunities to broaden your knowledge, build your confidence and develop your skillset.
• You will be comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders, adapting to different priorities and collaborating in dynamic project environments.

Our two-year Graduate Development Programme is designed to help you build the skills, experience and professional network needed to thrive at the start of your career with us. Through a blend of structured learning, mentoring and hands-on project experience, you will be supported every step of the way.

If successful at this stage, you will be invited to complete an online assessment, containing a Cognitive Assessment, personality questionnaire and Situational Judgement Test (SJT). All stages are essential parts of our early careers recruitment process.
