Our Community

Social

We have an active social scene at Simpson TWS with football tournaments, outings to Henley Regatta, Cheltenham Races and regular nights out.

The East v West company football tournament is a particularly popular and hard-fought battle with West (aka Gloucester office) coming out on top last time!

Fundraising

Staff are actively encouraged to take part in fund-raising for charities and the company regularly supports and makes donations as part of this activity.

Staff participate in team events locally like the Tough Mudder or in ambitious endeavours like an unsupported row across the Atlantic or cycling to MIPIM in Cannes . And, of course, exerting yourself isn't always necessary... we also regularly participate in Oxfam's Christmas Jumper days, Macmillan coffee mornings and the like.

Inclusivity & Diversity

We are committed to providing equality of opportunity. No employee or prospective employee will be discriminated against because of race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, pregnancy, gender identity, age, disability or marital status.

We recruit and reward our staff based on capability and performance and welcome the unique contributions that all members of our team bring. We are committed to providing fairness and equality and will strive to achieve this for all sections of our community.

Employee Assistance

We know that life doesn't always run smoothly so we have a service to help our staff with issues that may be affecting their personal or professional life.

Confidential support is available 24 hours a day, via a helpline, providing advice on legal, consumer, family, health and well-being issues. An app and website provide a wide range of information, while counselling and other face to face support is available for more complex issues.

The Environment

We recognise how vital it is that we all live and work in a way which limits our impact on the environment.

We encourage ecologically sound work practices such as reducing our use of office supplies, reusing and recycling supplies and equipment where we can and working flexibly to reduce business miles. Recently we donated surplus IT equipment to a charity who refurbished them for use in education.
