‘I have been with Tilbury Douglas for 4 months, in this time I been based on site, shadowing a senior of member staff, and working alongside them to achieve the project goals. In these 4 months I have begun a Level 4 course and have my CSCS card, with full intentions to be fully qualified and continuing to grow at Tilbury Douglas’
I was at university and found I couldn't see a career in what I was studying. I wanted a job in an industry where it would be a challenge and saw the apprenticeship at Tilbury Douglas. I went for the interview and knew I would have a job with clear career growth and be a part of a company that cares about their employee’s development.

I work alongside the site team to schedule works, create programs, contact subcontractors and generally support the team in a role which has a direct impact on operations. I have just started my career in the construction industry and have found, that I have been supported in my education and with on-the-job training, this support allows me to contribute to the team in a positive way.
