Why did you choose this scheme?

The initial first impressions of the company and what they could offer me aligned with my goals post university. I needed to develop myself in the industry. At the time I had no work experience so it was challenging to get a job but Tilbury Douglas showed their trust in me and were ready to give me the work experience I needed to develop.

What is your current role at Tilbury Douglas?

I am working as a graduate quantity surveyor in London currently working on DfE school projects.

Overall job experience with working on site or in the office. I've been able to supplement my knowledge from university into my everyday work. Tilbury Douglas provides plenty of training and opportunities to develop people and their careers.

What does the future hold for you?

In the near future I’m looking to have a larger responsibility within upcoming education projects on the commercial team and develop my skills within that area as a Quantity Surveyor.
