Why did you choose this apprenticeship scheme?

This scheme enabled me to develop my construction knowledge and skills, both in an educational environment and alongside my colleagues in the estimating department with years of valuable experience to learn from.

What is your current role at Tilbury Douglas?

My role is to provide support to my colleagues in the estimating department, ranging from measuring drawings to obtaining quotations from subcontractors.

What does the future hold for you?

Initially, I will top up my HND to degree level, then I intend to continue my professional development within the business and eventually become a senior estimator.

Do you feel you make a difference?

I feel I provide sufficient support to my colleagues to aid in the tender process, which will only improve as I gain more independence.
