THE ROLE

As a Project Management Graduate working in our Newcastle office, you will be working alongside Senior Project Managers and Technical Leaders to understand requirements for projects and supporting them with monitoring progress to meet objectives, forecasting and budgeting. 

This role sits within the Water sector at Stantec, working with clients such as Northumbrian Water overseeing design projects for water treatment, water resources and environmental services. 

To support you in your career journey, you will be mentored by a senior project manager and have the opportunity to work towards accreditation with the Association of Project Managers (APM). In addition, we work on a hybrid model – having a balance of working from home and working in one of our many offices across the UK.  

ABOUT YOU

The skills and experience we look for in our graduates:

• You will have achieved or be on target to achieve a minimum of an Honours Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Engineering Management or similar.
• You will have a keen interest in a career in project management and can demonstrate this through relevant university modules and projects and/or work experience gained through summer placements and internships.
• We are looking for someone who is very proactive, can focus on the fine details and work with accuracy.  We look for graduates who can communicate effectively and manage different stakeholders.
• Finally, you must be eligible to live and work in the UK at the time you start employment.
