Unlock potential everywhere
Every challenge is an invitation for us to dream big. Strengthen community resilience. Unleash the possibilities of a place. Together, let’s unlock potential everywhere.

We are looking for graduates to join our Transport & Mobility teams in 2027. This is an opportunity to work in a leading engineering and professional services consultancy, helping to shape the future of transport by delivering sustainable, innovative and connected solutions.

Opportunities are available in:

  • Transport Planning – Edinburgh/Glasgow, Guildford, Exeter, London
  • Transport Modelling – Exeter, Manchester, Bristol, London

A little bit more about your role and the team…

As a graduate in our Transport & Mobility teams, you'll help develop sustainable, accessible and efficient transport solutions that improve how people move through towns, cities and regions. Working with clients across the UK, you will contribute to strategies and projects that deliver positive social, environmental and economic outcomes for communities.

You will work on a varied range of projects, from improving active travel networks and public transport systems to supporting major developments, transport strategies and mobility initiatives. Collaborating with transport planners, engineers, urban designers and environmental specialists, you’ll help develop practical solutions to real-world transport challenges.

You will build skills in data analysis, transport modelling, stakeholder engagement and option development. From creating safer walking and cycling routes to improving access to sustainable transport and reducing congestion and carbon emissions, your work will help people travel and connect more easily.

What we’re looking for

  • You will have, or be on track to achieve, at least a 2:2 in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.
  • You will be looking to start work in April or in September 2027.
  • You will have an interest in transport planning, mobility, transport modelling, sustainable transport, active travel, public transport or transport strategy.
  • You will be curious, collaborative and motivated to solve challenges that improve how people and goods move through our communities.
  • You will enjoy working with others, sharing ideas and learning from different specialists across multidisciplinary project teams.
  • You will be interested in understanding the social, environmental and economic impacts of transport and helping to develop sustainable solutions.
  • You will want to take ownership of your work and development, while helping to create value for our clients.
  • You will be eager to learn, develop new skills and broaden your experience through technical analysis, stakeholder engagement and project delivery.

Don’t quite meet all the criteria? Should you have the right qualifications for our roles, apply and we can see how your experience aligns to this role and other opportunities we have available for our Graduate programme.
